Day 2 in Oshkosh

Day 2 in Oshkosh. The high today was only about seventy degrees and it was windy. So it was a day for jeans. By the end of the week, the temperature will be back in the mid eighties.
This meet has very few events at the main hotel. No one in our group was able to stay at the host hotel but it really has no advantages. Most of the events are at an airport about a mile away. Ray saw a former Southside A member John Nowak at the trouble tent. He was getting his car ready for judging.Tomorrow we are going to the Hartford Auto Museum and the Koehler Center (Whatever that is). It is a bus trip.
We saw a really cute fashion show with children wearing clothing popular in the Model A Era. in the afternoon, Ray & I went to an air museum and pioneer airport. It was nicely done and show aircraft from the beginnings through WWII. For $75.00 you could get a ride in a bi-plane.

The welcome party was tonight. It was a picnic there with brats & hamburgers and a lot of really nice Model A's to look at. Tomorrow we are taking a bus trip to an auto museum and a Koehler museum. All is well.
