Today was the bus tour.

We started the day in the wrong line, the line for the Touring Class Judging. Fortunately, we firgured it out in time & made it to the right parking lot to board the bus. We did see Gerald Grizzard and John Nowak in line to be judged. John Nowak is still trying to get The Award of Excellence.

The first place that we wend was to the Wisoncins Automibile Museum in Hartford, Wisc. The Kissel Car was manufactured there from 1960 - 1931. Their Speedster, nicked named "The Gold Bug," was driven by Amelia Earhart & many other movie stars. Other cars featured were the Nash, Hudson, & the #48 Tucker.

The weather is cool (high of around 75 degrees today) and tonight we will have an ice cream social...Yum!  All is well in Wisconsin.

After lunch , we went to the Kohler Design Center in Kohler, Wisconsin. Ray says that The Kohler Design Center was "a flushing experience."  He also commented that they didn't mention Thomas Crapper, the guy who invented the flushing toilet.

The ice cream social was held at the Pioneer Air Field.  Notice the plane taking off.  It has a Model A engine in it.
